Orange County's BLEED THE SKY Land Two Hollywood Shows With DISTURBED
January 5, 2006With two U.S. tours with MY RUIN and a road stint through the Midwest with AMERICAN HEAD CHARGE, DIECAST, and INDEX CASE chalked up in the last five months, Orange County's BLEED THE SKY are no strangers to touring. With so much collective time spent away from the comforts of home, local shows often make ANY band appreciative of not having to worry about gas money.
In spite of the theft of their equipment trailer last November which left BLEED THE SKY with an estimated loss of $30,000 in equipment, the incident fueled the band's determination to overcome this unnatural disaster and launch 2006 with more promotion for their debut release, "Paradigm In Entropy". Setting up a brisk pace for the rest of the year, BLEED THE SKY have secured three upcoming Jägermeister-sponsored shows in Hollywood, California: one with DOWN FACTOR and ANKLA at The Key Club on January 14, and two with DISTURBED and BLOODSIMPLE on January 24 and 25 at the House Of Blues. States guitarist Kyle Moorman about the upcoming home-show series: "We've taken a much needed break after getting back from Europe with HATEBREED, AGNOSTIC FRONT, and NAPALM DEATH, but we can't think of a better way to bring in the new year. It's an honor to play with bands like DISTURBED and BLOODSIMPLE, and we're excited to play in support of this year's Jägermeister tour. Be sure to stick around after our set each night ' cause we'll be at the bar pounding Jäger like it owes us money. See you there!"
BLEED THE SKY members would also like to extend their heartfelt gratitude to all those who came to their benefit shows and donated money to assist with replacing their stolen equipment. "We can't thank everyone enough."
